Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science

The mission of the Exercise Science program is to prepare students to promote health and well-being through the study and application of exercise science. Through rigorous academic preparation and experiential learning, students develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities to address physical inactivity and promote healthy, active lifestyles across diverse populations. Graduates are prepared for entry-level careers in health promotion, fitness and wellness, clinical rehabilitation, sport and athletic conditioning, strength and conditioning, coaching, and other exercise- and health-related fields, as well as professional certifications and graduate study in health-related professions. The program develops ethical leaders who demonstrate moral courage and integrity and use their knowledge and skills to improve health, enhance quality of life, and serve their communities.
