Kathleen Nevel

Biography

For more than 30 years, I worked in various management positions with Carpenter Technology Corp. in Reading, a specialty materials manufacturer. My years at Carpenter provided me a variety of management and leadership opportunities and learning experiences.  My areas of expertise focus on team building, leadership, project management, systems implementation, process improvement, and innovative cost savings approaches. After retiring, I decided to share my real-world experience with college students embarking on a career in business. I am blessed with the opportunity to teach at 91°µÍø where the students are friendly, respectful, and interested in learning and many faculty and staff have become very special colleagues.

Received my Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Corporate Leadership from 91°µÍø in 2013 and my Master of Industrial Engineering (MEIE) degree from Penn State University with my undergraduate degree from Immaculata University.
