Graduate Assistantships

Graduate Assistantships provide financial assistance for graduate students, allowing them to pursue a higher degree and apply knowledge and skills in a practical setting. Students not only gain valuable professional experience and participate in interesting course offerings, they are in a position to contribute significantly to their own intellectual development and the University as a whole.

Master’s level graduate students are required to take 6-9 credit hours (depending on program) each contracted semester and will receive tuition remission for those credits. Ph.D. level graduate students are required to take 6 credit hours each contracted semester and will receive tuition remission for those credits.

View eligibility and requirements for the roles, as well as current position openings. If there are no currently open positions, keep checking back, they are posted as soon as they become available.

Orientation & Academic Tools

Once you register for your first course, you’ll be automatically enrolled in the Graduate & Adult Education New Student Orientation on Canvas. This self-paced experience walks you through everything from academic expectations to technology tools.

All new graduate students are also invited to attend our New Student Orientations for their corresponding entry term. It’s a great opportunity to meet your support team, ask questions, and connect with fellow students. Details will be emailed to your 91°µÍø address.
